John Day 57-63
Ok this was the main reason I didn't post cuz straight up I was burnt out with this - really getting back into climbing at the gym and work it was burning me out a bit.... So I unintentionally, but glad I did, took a week of rest and recovery. Although wasn't doing the P90x2 program was still working-out a lot this week. On Tuesday and Thursday (59 & 61) got major workouts at the climbing gym with the 1,000 route challenge for the year. Did 15 routes each night with my regular climbing partner while following the "rules" we invented. You can not match on any hold nor use any hold by more then hand/foot. It makes the easy (5.8,5.9) much more challenging. And gives you a great body workout was totally pumped and spent at the end of each night. :) And yes this has made a difference from climbing before last year. I have greater strength and movement. Its pretty good but still working on the technique as much as i can which the "rules" really in force - Also overhangs are really fun ;)
